Massachusetts definitely has some of the most unique town names of any state. Some town names are so distinctively unique that plenty of residents don't know how to pronounce them. Many towns in the Bay State begin with the four directions: North, East, West, and South. There are even 19 towns throughout the Bay State that end in 'ham'. But throughout all the crazy, unique, eccentric, and bizarre town names in Massachusetts, there are even some that just don't sound like they are towns that should exist in the Bay State whatsoever!

There does seem to be a bunch of them sitting around in stores right now.

Everyone in Massachusetts knows we have plenty of amazing restaurants and eateries throughout the state. Some are even the best in the entire New England region. But as there is in every state, there is always one that has achieved a certain iconic status. It's a restaurant that you absolutely cannot pass up the opportunity to dine at given the chance and it happens to be one of the oldest in the Bay State. And now it's being called the absolute one "must-try" spot in all of Massachusetts.
